'SUPERB, SUPPORTIVE SHOE, SAVED MY SHINS AND KNEES'
Strengths: excellent cushioning, good motion control and extremely comfortable. The shoes have never given me blisters even from first use. This trainer is extremely versatile and can be used for a variety of distances and speeds and it never disappoints.
Weaknesses: Perhaps a little heavy for races.
Overall: Changing to the 2090's, then 2100 and now 2110 eliminated recurring knee and shin injuries. The shoes are good for 500+ miles, and have never let me down. If you overpronate slightly, have low arches or need some extra cushioning then these are the shoes for you!
Strengths: The fact that the gps unit is seperate means that you can vary your training, sometimes using heart rate targets, other times you might prefer to use pace/time goals. This gives you the flexiblity to completely exclude one or the other. The system is easy to use, and can seriously improve your training.
Weaknesses: The main weaknesses are that it lacks a few key features, such as track back points, a virtual training partner to run against. The biggest flaw is the short battery life span of the gps unit. It so often cuts out during long runs. The HRM has cut out during races due to interferencefrom othe r hrms nearby.
Overall: A good, if slightly basic unit thats easy to use and accurate pace and distance measurements.
