Ultramarathon Man by Dean Karnazes
Posted: 13/03/08
'SCARY'
Strengths:
A quick read, I couldn't wait to see what he would do next.
Weaknesses:
Too sohrt, I wanted to know more.
Overall:
Incredible what the human body can achieve. I'm glad to know already that mine can't.

Asics GT-2110
Posted: 30/04/06
'SURPRISED & DISAPPOINTED'
Strengths:
Felt comfortable straight from the box although the arch support in the left shoe felt higher than the right.
Weaknesses:
Very sore feet and backache in the last 10 miles of London Marathon. I've been wearing Asics since 2001 and never had such problems with earlier models.
Overall:
Not as comfortable as I expected. May keep them for runs of under 10 miles in future.

Feet in the Clouds: A Tale of Fell-Running and Obsession by Richard Askwith
Posted: 21/01/06
'AMAZING'
Strengths:
The fell runners described make any Olympic athletes seem like wimps. Their achievements don't seem humanly possible.
Weaknesses:
There should be a health warning on the cover. This book makes me want to do things that I know I'm not suited to.
Overall:
Some amazing athletes getting some well deserved recognition at last.
