'THEY'LL DO I SUPPOSE...'
Strengths:
Perhaps I will wear them as a weight training shoe to build up strength in legs. There again I could just train in my wellington boots and use these as an expensive door stop. If you are short they will make you an inch taller.

[Update 10/10/07] None relaly - quite comfortable I suppose

Weaknesses:
Heavy. Cumbersome. A bit like I imagine it would be like to run in clogs. Ugly (not that I would care if they were a good shoe).

[Update 10/10/07] Well they are far too heavy and I have abandoned doing races (recently up to 10k) in them though I'm using them for steady training sessions etc. when speed doesn't matter and I see them as providing additional weight to my legs (strength exercises!)

Overall:
Annoyed because I was lead to believe they were an alternative to the Asics 2120 which I like a lot. Cannot really think of a positive word(s)to say about this monstrosity of a shoe. Oh I forgeot they are comfortable but then so are my wellies.

[Update 10/10/07] I'll be glad when they wear out so I can revert back to ASICS.

'FANATSTIC SHOE BUT WEARS OUT TOO EASILY'
Strengths:
Support and comfort
Weaknesses:
Rapid deterioration in toe area - i do about 40/50 miles a week and need a new pair every ten weeks or so
Overall:
Well I keep on buying it but could do with a similar type of shoe that is more durable

'FOR ME THIS IS THE PERFECT SHOE'
Strengths:
Comfort and support
Weaknesses:
Thin material on top tends to tear (toes poke through thin material). Step in a puddle and your foot is instantly soaked.
Overall:
Can use over all distances and for someone lik eme who needs support (dodgy knees) it serves all my needs.
