Nike Air Pegasus
Posted: 22/11/05
'NOT A GOOD FIT. SQUEAKY TOO'
Strengths:
Initially very comfy with improved cushioning over previous Pegs. Look nice (well they did before they got caked in mud)
Weaknesses:
The sewn in tongue changes the fit and for me makes them to tight across the top of the foot, down toeards the toes. I have to lace mine using only the top three sets of holes and I don't even have wide feet. I'd say they're pretty much near shot, prob done 200-odd miles in them. Have never had a problem with previous Pegs. Oh and they squeak like hell!!
Overall:
OK but wouldn't buy again, will get hold of some earlier model ones for my next pair, or maybe try something different (I've worn Pegasus for years)

Marathon: The Ultimate Training Guide by Hal Higdon
Posted: 20/10/05
'EXCELLENT FOR KEEN FIRST/SECOND TIMERS'
Strengths:
A nice balance of in-depth and easy to understand information. Some great tried and tested training plans plus sound advice.
Weaknesses:
Once you've read it every night for four months you need a new and thicker book for next time!
Overall:
A must-read for your first couple of marathons

Dans-ez Minimal Bounce Bra
Posted: 20/10/05
'IT'S THE ABSOLUTE BEST'
Strengths:
It flattens like a pancake and that's exactly what you need. Anything with any sort of cup is a big no. What we need is a sports bra that straps them to yr rib cage and holds them there and THIS IS IT.
Weaknesses:
Hmmmm, can't think of any. They're just great
Overall:
I'v ebeen wearing these for at least ten years and buy three or four at once. They're tough to get hold of in the shops though. Goodness knows why
