'DONT LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT!'
Strengths:
You will train smarter with this! I thought i had reached a plateau with my race times, but after a bit of reading on HR training and types of workout this little gem kicked into gear and helped me to raise my performances. I used to train at one speed for all distances. With its speed and HR zones training zone capability it brought structure to my training and i saw improvements. The ability to create your own workouts and have virtual races is cool to. Especially if you do the same route every now and then and want to race your PB! Combine all the excellent features (a number of which i havent mentioned) with its ease of use and you have an essential item of running equipment.
Oh... and i dont have to drive every new running route i find to work out how far i have run!
Weaknesses:
I have found the battery in the HRM chest strap goes quite quickly, maybe im working it too hard! The software could be organised a little better so you can compare performances and add different maps.
It doesnt recognise when your injured and tell you to stop training, as a result mine has hardly been used for 6 months as i recover from severe shin splints!
Overall:
A fantastic piece of equipment which I treated myself to after giving up smoking. Its the best gadget I have and I wouldn't be without it.
