Nike Air Pegasus+

'WELL CUSHIONED FLEXIBLE FRIENDS'
Strengths:
Great cushioning. Buy them and take them straight out for a long run - no problems. Waffle means they are great on road or trail.
Weaknesses:
Nike keep messing about with their tried and tested formula.
Overall:
I've worn Pegasus since 1984 - well before air was invented (!) and have had loads of pairs since. Every now and then I stray to another brand or type - only to return like an errant husband!

Nike Air Zoom Vomero 2

'GREAT CUSHIONED RUNNING, ONCE YOU'RE USED TO THEM'
Strengths:
Excellent cushioning and waffle outsole means you can run virtually anywhere.
Weaknesses:
Had sore arches until my feet got used to them.
A pity they are £15-20 more than Pegasus.
Overall:
Great shoe, which reminded me of Pegasus circa 2001-2002. I had been getting frustrated with Pegasus in their most recent incarnations - to firm and clumpy. Tried some NBs which made my feet hot and gave me blisters. Sweatshop recommended Vomero 2 and I will definitely be buying a second pair.
