Strengths: Fairly light weight for this type of shoe.
Weaknesses: The first few outings were fine, but the right hand side of the instep of my left foot has now rubbed raw. I had no trouble at all, with the three pairs of 1100s I had.
Overall: A flatter feel to this model. I am rather disappointed, as I have worn the same Asic Family for many years, with no problems.
Strengths: A comfortable, well fitting shoe. I run approx. 40 miles per week, on and off roads and have never had any blisters.
Weaknesses: They suit my running style, a slight pronator but would probably not suit a greater pronator. Also the cushioning is adequate for me, a light weight 10 stone but probably not enough for heavier runners.
Overall: A great shoe for training and racing all distances, including the marathon. I also have three pairs and am looking forward to the next upgrade.
