'SUPPORTIVE, CUSHIONED AND STABLE, IDEAL FOR HEAVIER RUNNERS '
Strengths:
Really stable and allows heavier runners to maintain and efficient style when on longer runs. Also for those with wide feet, or feet that swell on longer runs, the front toe area is spacious. I went from a 2E on 854s to a D to compensate.
Weaknesses:
I would say they take a bit of breaking in, but that is probably because they realign your legs and feet to a straighter pattern. This is probably because the feet sit deeper in the shoe. They are slightly heavier than the 854 but give a similar feel. This might not be ideal for the racing snakes!
Overall:
A really good shoe but maybe a little wide in the toes for narrow feet or heavy for lighter runners. If you like the 854 this is your shoe, just a little heavier, and a slightly deeper foot position. And at £65 a pair from most good running shops I think this is great value for money.
