Nike + SportBand
Posted: 14/11/09
'SPORTSBAND 2 IS A GOOD TOOL FOR THE PRICE'
Strengths:
Easy to use, easy to set up, comes in a variety of colours.
Weaknesses:
The original sportsband had problems with the display, this seems to have been addressed in the newer version.

I do seem to have turned the contacts rusty and it doesn't always connect first time to my laptop.

Doesn't work for run/walks, can only be used then to measure time.
Overall:
This is a cheap distance & speed measurer.

I didn't calibrate it initially but it was only ever 10% over which was easy to deal with.

For Goodness Shakes Milkshake
Posted: 14/11/09
'GREAT TASTING MILKSHAKE DRINK'
Strengths:
I love the chocolate one, drink it after a long run.
Weaknesses:
Not cheap, I would only drink after an lsr rather than daily.
Overall:
I've only tried the chocolate shake one, it's quite often on offer in Sainsbury's too and can be found in the chiller cabinets near the milk.

New Balance 858
Posted: 06/09/07
'QUITE PINK BUT QUITE COMFY'
Strengths:
They do dry quickly, I took them to Wales during torrential rains.
Weaknesses:
Took a while for this to be comfortable, it's a rather solid sole to it and I'm still getting blisters - but then I'd get blisters whatever I wear so it's not necessarily the shoes fault.
Overall:
I like pink even if these were scarily pink till I got them a bit mucky and I like trainers made in the UK. These are my second pair of New Balance trainers and I'm quite happy with them now that I'm used to them. Wish they were just a bit cheaper though!
