For Goodness Shakes Milkshake
Posted: 17/11/09
'GREAT TREAT AFTER A LONG RUN'
Strengths:
I love milkshake and these are made with skimmed milk and added vitamins so are a healthy and effective way to refuel and tasty too.
Weaknesses:
I can't seem to find them in banana in the supermarket anymore so perhaps there are supply issues? The chocolate one tastes great, but at about 100 calories more than the banana or berry ones I assume those claories come from added sugar - not good!
Overall:
After a long run I find one of these an easy way to refuel when I don't fancy solid food. They taste great, and provide me with the added motivation I need to get through the last few miles home!

'INSPIRING'
Strengths:
Shows what people are capable of and makes the reader believe they can do the same...
Weaknesses:
No detail to assist would-be ultra runners achieve their goals, you need to look elsewhere for that.
Overall:
One of those books I read from cover to cover without putting it down.
