New Balance 860
Posted: 31/05/11
'Bought these as an update to my two previous pairs of 760's. Had considered other's but the 860's fitted best.'
Strengths:
Great fit for wider feet with the E sized shoe. Had considered other shoes but none i had tried felt better than these. Have taken less time to feel like they have worn in and were ready to race in after a few runs. Very comfortable and feel cushioned but solid and responsive.
Weaknesses:
Have not found anything that i don't like yet but if i was really pushed i would say that the laces on my 760's were better. The bumps in them helped the laces from becoming undone.
Overall:
What first attracted me to New Balance shoes was the fact that they were made in this country and reduced the possibility of slave labour from eastern countries and the air miles involved, so more carbon friendly to. Of course as well as these reasons i have found that these shoes are excellently made and last very well. I would find it hard to cahange to another manufacurer.
