Strengths: Good support, nice gel cushioning, great fit and comfort.
Weaknesses: £115 is expensive, you need to find a bargain.
Overall: Even in the shop I noticed the fit was generous. The last time I had Kayanos (Mk9) 8.5 was a good fit. With these, size 8 seems about the same. They feel very secure and comfy. Once I started running in them, they had just the right support for my running style, plus good cushioning. At 350g in my size, they're not too heavy either. The only downside is that I can't compare them against many other running shoes. If you don't mind the colours (I don't,) I would definately recommend these.
Overall: Asics have the Nimbus, the Kayano (fantastic) and the Foundation covering lots of running types, so what does the Kinsei do? Is it just Asics sabre-rattling by putting lots of fancy technology in a shoe?
