Overall: When I first used these shoes, they were like a revelation to me, they are very light, very comfortable and offered enough stability to control the over pronation in my right leg. Pretty much the perfect shoe, only mared by some questionable looks, and worries over build quality and longevity. They look terrible, almost like some cheap market stall trainers, and seem very flimsy, time will tell how they hold up to the miles and the British weather, but untill that time they are the best shoe I have used to date. Also they don't give me horrendous blisters on my arches like my Asics GT2140's do.
Overall: Overall a decent enough stability shoe, but just a bit too firm and stiff for me. No major problems though, they cope well enough with long(er) runs, but just feel a bit basic. Doubt I would buy another pair
[Update 03/04/09] I have consigned these to the scrap bin after a shade over 100 miles.
Terrible shoe, hate every single mile in them, knee niggles with any distance over 3 miles, sore shins, ankle pain.
I had a running layoff over the winter, mostly because I couldn't face running in these shoes, thankfully, I am back with Asics and in a world of comfort again.
