Strengths: * used on trail/woodland terrain in all seasons. * unusual but reliable lacing system.
Weaknesses: * be careful if ordering over the 'net, the sizes come up small. i ordered a full size above normal but the end of my toes occasionally blistered, so would need to order salomon's in size 'clown' in future. * not suitable for prolonged use on harder surfaces, such as tarmac. * didn't have a removable innersole, so i chose the extra expense of a 2mm noene.
Overall: * good durable shoe, clocked-up 700 miles, never cleaned them & had no quality problems. * my first trail shoes so will only really know how good they were when i've tried my new asics.
