You can feel the sipes moving on the shoe during the transition from landing to toe-off which is initially disconcerting until you remember that this is the idea of barefoot shoes! | | Weaknesses: As mentioned in previous review, they seem to attract small stones, so not great off-road or trail running. Have only run a 10k max so far... Not sure I'd want to go much further than a HM due to my running gait. | | Overall: Have only put approx 60 miles on them but fantastic so far. |

 | | | Posted: 07/08/11 | | 'Works well enough... Once it's found satellites. Very big for small wrists!' | | Strengths: Simple and easy to use and program. Downloaded RW VLM training programme from web-site with no problem. Big, clear, easy to press buttons when your running. | | Weaknesses: Sometimes takes ages to locate satellites, wasting precious running time! If you have small wrists like me, the watch is huge and took a little while to get used to having a "brick" strapped to me! This has been addressed in the later 405 I believe. | | Overall: Works very well but is now over 5 years old and beginning to look and feel like it. |

 | | | Posted: 11/03/11 | | 'The Mutt's nuts!' | | Strengths: Early days but already feel much more comfortable than my Adrenaline 10's. DNA seems to work well... great cushioning without being "doughy". Lighter than the 10's. Don't make my feet ache like the 10's.
| | Weaknesses: Very trivial point, but they look almost exactly the same as the 10. Brooks seem to have a design theme for each shoe and then just revolve colour schemes... Come on Brooks, a little imagination (see Nike) wouldn't go amiss. Other than this, absolutely nothing! | | Overall: Have used Adrenaline's since the 8 and these are the best so far. As you may have guessed, i'm not a fan of the previous 10's (did Brooks change the last from the 9's?) due to them making my feet ache after a couple of miles (very painful after VLM!). I adored the Adrenaline 9's and the 11's are a definite return to form. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T CHANGE A THING FOR THE NEXT VERSION!!! |

 | | | Posted: 01/03/10 | | 'Comfortable, good support and a smooth transition. ' | | Strengths: Comfortable straight out of the box. Fairly light with great cushioning yet still fairly responsive. Lovely heel to toe transition. Better fit than my previous Adrenaline 9's. Also a better looking shoe than the 9. Doesn't give me black toes (unlike Mizuno's)! | | Weaknesses: Still early days (only covered 70 miles) but seem slightly stiffer than my previous Adrenaline 9's and not quite as well cushioned but this is a very minor gripe... if the 9's weren't so good i'd be raving about the 10's ! | | Overall: Lovely, comfortable shoe that can still light enough to use in races. Recommended. |

 | | | Posted: 14/01/10 | | 'Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... nice!' | | Strengths: Very comfortable straight away. More cushioning than previous shoes (Mizuno Inspire 5's), but still very responsive with lovely transition and toe-off. My mileage has now increased as training for VLM but if they continue to be this good, it's bye bye Mizuno, hello Brooks in future! | | Weaknesses: Not quite as light as Inspire's, and laces are too short... not enough to tie double knot and therefore keep having to check that they are not coming undone. | | Overall: Very impressive shoe thus far... Hope they haven't changed the "10's" much? |

 | | | Posted: 02/12/09 | | 'Light, comfortable "out of the box", great shoe...would/will buy again.' | | Strengths: Lighter and more responsive than a lot of other stbility shoes i'd tried... Asics, Brooks. Seem to be holding up well (have done 300 miles so far). | | Weaknesses: Laces are ridiculously long and the tongue is a bit too short... i'm nitpicking though! | | Overall: Great, responsive shoe. |
