Asics GT-2120
Posted: 09/12/06
'BRILLIANT'
Strengths:
Everything
Weaknesses:
None
Overall:
Perfect right out of the box like all of the 2100 series. I've worn them over many miles and have no complaints at all. Bath half marathon in brand new ones and no dicomfort says everything for me. Changed to a neutral shoe at the recomendation of my physio otherwise I'd still be regularly buying these.

Asics GEL Nimbus 8

'STARTING TO THINK THEY ARE EXCELLENT'
Strengths:
Very light and comfortable
Weaknesses:
Tight for the size.
Overall:
Bought them after using many pairs of 2100 series (fantastic). Physio recomended a neutral shoe and since I've always worn Asics they were the natural choice. Bought them at a big discount off the internet without trying them on as Asics always fit right. These I found tighter than normal and wondered if I'd made a big mistake. Stupid button on toe feels really odd when first tried on. However after 100 k in them I'm very pleased and really find them comfortable. My big toe seems to wear out socks in short order though by rubbing on the stupid button thing. If you are in the market for this type of shoe I'd recomend them but really give them a trial first and be careful of sizing, after 100k mine now fit well but it's taken some time.
