Strengths: Heel Cushioning Lightweight for such good cushioning
Weaknesses: Forefoot cushioning Less stable, less strong, less room in the forefoot and less comfortable than the predecessor.
Overall: I am a terrible Supinator and I run off my toes. I have always done this and I have always worn Cumulus as a result.
The last three revisions have got steadily worse and in the last two (especially the VIII) I get pain in the forefoot after 6 miles or so.
The shoe is less comfortable across the top of the foot when laced tightly and I have had four blisters since buying them (having never suffered from Blisters before).
Whilst this review is not all positive it has to be said that I tried on the equivalent Mizuno and Nike and didn't even attempt to run in them as they didn't fit properly... perhaps I'll look into the Saucony shoe which is getting some pretty positive reviews on this site!
