'EXCELLENT PIECE OF KIT. WOULDN'T RUN WITHOUT IT.'
Strengths: More functions than you will ever need, in a wrist watch that you barely notice once you’re out. The screen is large and easily readable, even in the dark when it is back lit. It can be configured to display up to 12 different outputs over 3 screens. Takes no time to acquire satellites and keeps position under dense tree coverage and in built-up areas. Stores months worth of data. The virtual partner is brilliant and will keep you pushing.
Weaknesses: Comes with poor software, Garmin Training Center. No UK maps available, without paying extra, so makes the route planning capability un-usable. I upload my data to Sports Tracks software which is far better IMHO, and free too!!
Overall: A great bit of kit that, once you start using, you’ll feel naked without. It will quickly become as much a part of your running kit as your trainers.
