'This book is a definitive guide to running physiology, training, injury and psychology.'
Strengths: Extremely detailed, but divided into chapters and sub paragraphs so that the information is easy to digest.
Presents a range of sports science theory before proposing a hypothesis, allowing the reader to evaluate the information for themself.
Written by a research doctor with an infectious passion for running and a detailed knowledge of the science behind it.
One of those books that makes you want to go out and run!
Weaknesses: Very long (although well broken down, as identified above).
Can be a little dry in places as it contains a lot of technical information.
Overall: I love this book. It's probably not well suited to someone with a casual interest in running as it's very detailed and thorough. However, if you are serious about understanding the process of running and how you can improve your performance, this book will become a constant reference guide.
'Very comfortable, good level of support and nice colours!'
Strengths: - Comes in a range of sizes and colours - Very comfortable when on - Doesn't leave red marks - Fits well under running gear and doesn't create any odd bulges
Weaknesses: - There is still some bounce, though less than I've found with any other style - If you exercise frequently, needs replacing on every 6 months or so
Overall: I find this bra comfortable and have never tried on a style I preferred or that fitted better.
Due to the amount of weight I've lost since taking up running I've worn this bra (in the appropriate size) as a 36DD, a 34B and everying in between. I would encourage larger chested women to give it a go as it's surprisingly supportive.
