'fabulous minimal road shoe'
Strengths:
Has the low drop and good forefoot room for barefoot transition, but enough bounce in the construction to allow long road runs in perfect comfort. Have enjoyed training runs with speed intervals much more in these - they really encourage bursts of speed and feel very responsive. More so than my previous Inov8 roadXs, which also used to allow some heel lift. These hold my feet perfectly with no tightness of the laces. PB at half marathon today in them too, having only had them for a week or two, with no achy legs or twinges developing etc. Delighted!!
Weaknesses:
So not good in mud, but that's not what they're for, so not a real con.
When I first ran them home from the shop, they felt a bit prominent in the midfoot area, but this has not caused any problems, and now settled completely.
Overall:
Great minimal shoe for long distance road running and speedwork too.

'Great cushioned but light high-mileage road shoes'
Strengths:
Very light, good support, well cushioned.
Weaknesses:
The looks!
Overall:
Just used them for training and then marathon few weeks ago. At no point did my feet or my usually problematic tib post tendon hurt at all, even during the race itself. They look just like new still, despite the miles. I am really delighted with these. The only thing is that they look like bowling shoes, maybe I am not trendy!!??
