I am a: regular recreational runner I have been running for: 5-10 years I run this many times a week: 4-6 times My weekly mileage is about: 21-30 I do these types of running: road / pavement, trail / grass / woodland, treadmill My most important reason for running is: to get/stay in shape
My three favourite events are: Favourite: Marathon Next Favourite: Triathlon Third favourite: Half-marathon I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Gym (classes), Road cycling, Skiing, Walking (hill walking)

Got into Triathlon in 2004. What a laugh! 2005 was Marathon year london & Chicago. 2006 Triathlon was supposed to be Ironman but came off my bike in training cracked ribs and punctured lung prevented me competing, but did a 1/2 Ironman later in the year. 2007 had a rest apart from the Reading 1/2 marathon. 2008 Reading 1/2, London & Vienna Marathons then a knee injury requiring an operation and then the Paris 20k 9 weeks after the Op. Now considering my future, will probably stick to shorter races to preserve my knee.
