I've been running for over six years now. Still slow! My biggest race so far is The Great South, which I've run three times raising money for Leukaemia Research as my best friend was struck down by this disease but is now doing well thanks to new drugs.
I am quite a lazy runner so I am dependent on having goals & also goading friends! I'm definitely a tortoise not a hare, but the great thing about running is that you're competing against yourself. (Though it would be nice not to be at the back quite so much...)
