I returned to running at the age of 53 partly as a bet with my 28year old son, who had just completed the Marathon des Sable. I have completed 5 marathons since then, Florence, Paris, Berlin and Florence again.In April 2006 i completed the London Marathon in 3.52, over 20 minutes faster than when I last did London in 1986. My PB has come down with each race and at 3:51 is only 7 minutes over the time i will need to run Boston in 2007! So that is my challenge for the summer. To train for the 2007 Florence Marathon and complete it in under 3.45.
