I took up running in summer 2005 when a friend talked me into doing a 5k race for life for Cancer Research UK. I caught the running bug and am now running 10k races. Hope to be doing my first 10 miler in the Autumn...
Running really helps me to sort out my head - it gives me time to think about everything that's been stressing me out and it all seems so much better afterwards! And brilliant side effects include losing weight - what we all want!
