I enjoy running and have done so off and on since at school. Since my fourth Race for Life last year (2002) I have taken my running more seriously and have started to enter races. Last Year I completed the Flora London half at Silverstone and a five mile race around Draycote Water, which I did again this year in 60mph winds! I've run the Hincley half twice now and completed the GNR last year. Although I still run on my own as I love the freedom it gives and I can go whenever I want, I now have an occassional running partner. I really enjoy having the option of partner or solo and still don't want to be tied to a club. I know I'm not going to get much faster, due to age I'm afraid, but that doesn't stop me trying!
