My three favourite events are: Favourite: Half-marathon Next Favourite: 10 Mile Third favourite: Marathon I take part in events: 1-11 times a year

I've been running since May 2005 (getting a bit tired now) and gradually taking it more seriously. Initially I started because I was no longer playing football regularly enough to retain some vestige of fitness and I was wasting too much money on a gym membership I never used. I've done a few races now and am getting quite competitive with myself about times.
