 More about me
I started this most recent bout of running as an attempt to fight the growing need to expand a waistband size. Dang but those early misdemeanours soon catch up on you as you turn 40. I've had a few prolonged stints at running, usually interrupted by trivial things like kids//work/life in general. I class myself as an honest trier. I have astonished myself by keeping this thing going for so long - but I feel that the all-round benefits of a regular routine as a runner are more than enough motivation. Running for me is more about challenging my own possibilities, through distances or times rather than competing with others. Challenging myself, I feel that I have lots more left to acheive. This also encourages me to slip on my running shoes whn the rain is spattering against the windows.
