The reason I run is in memory of my son Stirling who passed away suddenly on June 6 2005 aged 7mths from a rare undetected heart condition.
Stirling also had a rare growth disorder- Russell Silver Syndrome which is unconnected to his death.
I run for my local Hospital/Maternity Unit to thank them for caring for him so well before and after his birth.
