I took up running after a friend encouraged me to enter the Race for Life back in 2005. Since then I have finished three marathons (number four will be London this year) and numerous half marathons, 10 milers, 10Ks and 5Ks. 2009 was my best year for PBs but I refuse to admit that I am getting slower with age so watch out for more PBs next year!
