As someone who was about the most un-sporty person at school I'm now well and truly hooked on running, which I came to from rowing.
I run for the pure pleasure of being out in the fresh air and the 'me time' it gives me listening to my favourite music, and love my early morning runs.
I enter a few races a year and since completing my first marathon (Dublin) in 2006 am now focusing on a couple of marathons in 2007 (yes, I've been bitten by the marathon bug).
