I have been running off and on since being a sprinter at school. Did my first half-marathon (Wilsmslow) in 1991 in support Of Alzheimer''s. Did my first marathon in 2006 (Blackpool). Race more now than I used to. Set 10k pb (37.30) at southport in 2012. Half-marathon pb (1.21.38) in Blackpool 2012. Hoping to get sub3 marathon in 2010 after suffering with throat infections in 2009.
When not running I indulge my passion for wildlife, especially birds and cetaceans.
Also do a bit of mountain biking (crazy downhill stuff and jumps at llandeglla in wales) Also used to BMX a lot but scared of getting another serious injury(broke my shoulder in 2001) that will upset my run training.
