Started walking in Jan 06 to lose weight, I progressed to running and discovered I enjoyed it! I've gradually built up speed and distance and did my first 10K (Arunel Castle)on 27/08/06 (my 52nd birthday!) in 68mins. I've done 2 more 10K's - Bedgebury Forset (64mins) and Tunbridge Wells (61:46) and the Cardiff Half Marathron (2:10:08)
I would like to continue to improve my times if possible but I'm not too bothered being on the slow side.
Running along with Paul Mckenna's weight loss system has helped me shed 6stone in 8 months (Christmas 05 to August06).
