I am a: serious competitive athlete I have been running for: 5-10 years I run this many times a week: 4-6 times My weekly mileage is about: 31-50 Running club / race organisation: I am a member of a running club I do these types of running: road / pavement, trail / grass / woodland, athletics track My most important reason for running is: to be competitive in races
I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Gym (weight training)

I started running back in 1981, stopped in 1983 due to continuous injury problems. My wife bought me membership to a gym last year. My preferred training is running through forests, excellant for stress releaf, and also the difficulty with some of the extreme climbs that it presents you. Recently however i am having problems with my shins and calfs, they become very sore when i am trying to increase the weekly mileage. I am 37, and we have 3 children. 9,6 and 4.
