My three favourite events are: Favourite: 10K Next Favourite: Half-marathon Third favourite: Marathon I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Road cycling, Swimming, Walking (hill walking)

5th Mar 2014 - I used to run regularly back in the 1970''s but got out of the habit. After a break of thirty years I started running again in 2007. I am 61 and although the training has been a bit stop-start due to various injuries I am okay most of the time. However, I have been ''on the bench'' since mid-December with a calf injury and had to cancel my Bath HM entry. Have been receiving physio treatment since then and have just been given the okay today to start gentle intervals (brisk walk/slow jog) on my treadmill for 10 mins and if all seems okay, to slowly build up the time.
