I am a fifty plus absolute beginner determined to complete a sprint triathlon. I have unfortunately faced some serious health problems so starting from the very very beginning.
My current fitness level is very poor and still have almost three stone to lose to attain a healthy BMI so the only way is up, but down with the weight!!
My running ability is the weakest current duration is 30 secs so that is going to be my biggest challenge!!
Cycling is weak but dont feel quite so anxious about it I just need to improve on fitness.
Swimming is not bad but I am happiest in the water so this does not worry me and feel I will improve quickly as my fitness improves.
My goal is to complete a sprint triathlon, and raise some funds for Marie Curie who where fabulous when my dad sadly passed away. : )
