Started in my early 20s. 15:49 5km after 18months training. Trained hard (but wrong for me - in hindsight) under well-reputed coach for 2years and could no longer break 16min, though did scrape into top 200 in national XC. Got back to 15:48 after a year self-coached. Hoping to get over some recent injury problems and work towards <15min 5km. Also coach to my partner and advise a couple of other athletes.
I am in the final year of a PhD in Sport & Exercise Science (assuming i finish on time!!).
