My three favourite events are: Favourite: 10K Next Favourite: Half-marathon Third favourite: 5K I take part in events: 12-24 times a year I also do these sports: Gym (classes), Road cycling, Swimming, Walking (hill walking)

I run because it fits in and around the long and unpredictable hours I work. I run because of the inexplicable release of happiness that sets in after ten minutes. I run because I like an excuse to chat non stop for an hour. I run because steadily improving times are a direct result of the increased training put in. And I run because it's a socially acceptable and easy way to raise money for cancer research.
