More of a born-again runner after years of treadmill and fair-weather running. I now want to put more effort into running as an alternative and supplement to the gym and cycling, to get outdoors and exercise the discipline that it requires. As such I'm pretty much a beginner but aim to build my speed and duration to the point of being capable of taking part in races and organised runs. Am also curious about trail and cross-country running - just need to get some maps and advice first. And at the moment, the holy grail would be to complete a triathlon in a decent time.
