My three favourite events are: Favourite: Marathon Next Favourite: 10K Third favourite: Half-marathon I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Swimming, Walking (hill walking)

Started running as a way to lose weight in Jan 2007. I'd hit 100kgs & realised it was time to do something. Set a 9 month goal of finishing the Oslo half-marathon that year - and hopefully inside 2 hours. In the end finished in 1.57.53 - and had caught the running bug.
A few years and a few less kilos later and here we are.
5kms: Never run (altho' have a 20.27 split from a 10K this year)
10kms: 40.19 (Sep 2009)
10 miles: 1.09.37 (altho' it was actually a metric course: 16.29kms)
HM: 1.44.44 (altho' haven't run one of these since 2008. Had a 1.36.23 split in a marathon this year)
FM: 3.15.19 (Paris 2010)
