 More about me
Hey, I'm Liz :-) It's as much a surprise to me as it is to anyone else I know that I do what I love to do now - completely unforeseen actually. So, as the old saying goes, anything really is possible! I feel like I've forgotten how to race anything although it's not utmost on my priority list right now and I enjoy what I do and I guess I take it easy. I guess my goals for the future are to pick some speed up again > I don't want to be eternally labelled as the slow one; I'm not deep down, I just have a stubborn mind & a really bad 'training' regime Ultimately, I'm only really getting started in terms of the things I'd love to do, which is all pretty exciting really...I'm just impatient! love the adventure of it all. Nowhere else do you meet such friendly, smiley people :-) I want to be a good ultra runner one day :-) From May 13th- 22nd 2011, I ran 10 marathons in 10 days for Brathay Hall Trust (I have no idea how...) On 9th october 2011, I completed my 100th Marathon distance event at Chester Marathon. This includes 40 ultra's. My longest ultra will be tackled in 2012 at the GUCR 145 miler.
