I am a: beginner I have been running for: 3-5 years I run this many times a week: 1-3 times My weekly mileage is about: 20 or less I do these types of running: road / pavement, trail / grass / woodland, treadmill My most important reason for running is: to lose/maintain weight
My three favourite events are: Favourite: 10K I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Gym (classes), Road cycling, Walking (hill walking)

I have been trying to run regularly for several years but have been defeated by uncontrolled asthma, bronchiectasis and regular chest infections. I now seem to have my lungs under control so ready to give it another go and lose the 5 stone that I need to shift.
