My three favourite events are: Favourite: 10K Next Favourite: Trail races Third favourite: Half-marathon I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Walking (power walking/fitness walking)

I'm 48 yrs old, & am returning to running after a long period of absence. I have always been a swimmer, & I trained for many years as a dancer. I came back to running to remedy a long standing depressive illness that was not going anywhere with meds. In March 08, I just started walking a brisk mile a day. I am now achieving about 30 -35 miles a week on trails & road. I feel invigorated, off meds, & finding new elements of myself, & what I am capable of doing on a daily basis. Hoping to build into regular racing, join a local club, & run well into my late years - all things being equal.
