I am a: regular recreational runner I have been running for: Over 10 years I run this many times a week: 4-6 times My weekly mileage is about: Over 50 I do these types of running: road / pavement, trail / grass / woodland My most important reason for running is: to get/stay in shape
My three favourite events are: Favourite: Ultra Next Favourite: Trail races Third favourite: Marathon I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Gym (weight training), Road cycling, Swimming, Walking (hill walking)

I have been running for the last 12 years. With a few breaks when kids were born. Pesky sleepless nights!!!! Have done numerous middle distance running ie 10k to marathon in that time. I dabbled with Ultra's about 4 years ago (ran 2 50 miler's) but was not ready then. Woke up one day in mid jan 2010 (would be poetic to say jan 1st) and thought this year I go Ultra. Ran my first 100 in june and am now hooked. Bring it on!!
