I am a: serious competitive athlete I have been running for: 1-3 years I run this many times a week: 4-6 times My weekly mileage is about: 21-30 Running club / race organisation: I am a member of a running club I do these types of running: road / pavement, trail / grass / woodland, athletics track My most important reason for running is: to be competitive in races
My three favourite events are: Favourite: 5K Next Favourite: 10K I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Swimming, Walking (power walking/fitness walking)

I have taken up running to deal with the grief after losing my 20mth old son to a rare blood disorder.I have run countless Half Marathons and 2 Marathons. One of these was with a fab group of people who I met through this forum. I also lead others in running as I want everyone to feel the benefits.
