Typical story, ran a bit at university, then stopped in favour of booze, fags and football. Started again in mid-30s, initially to lose weight and prolong football "career". Then got talked into a marathon by a friend. PBs: 1.29 for HM (2006, but haven''t run one since), 3.12 marathon (2012), 41.20 for my one and only 10k race ever. Think all of these can be improved by a few minutes, if I work for it. That''s what I like about running, you get out what you put in.
