I started running in Feb 2009 as part of a diet and weight loss plan. In 6 months, I lost over 5 stone (33kgs) and discovered I'd got completely hooked on running???? Ran my first Half Marathon on 6th Sept 09 in 2:09:10 and my second Half Marathon on 27th Sept in under 2hrs with a time of 1:58:52 and my 3rd HM on 11th Oct in a time of 1:57:00 thus completing 3 HM's in 5 weeks!! After which I suffered with ITBS and Hamstring strain and had to stop running for 6 weeks!! But came back slowly and completed my first full marathon at The Brighton Marathon - 18th Apr 2010. Now recovering from that and planning the next one!!
