Started running April 2009 to train for some Triathlons I had entered during the summer. Started doing less then a mile and increased up to 3 miles.
After doing 5 triathlons up until October I then needed something to motivate me to carry on training through the winter, so i entered a Ten miler in February and a couple half marathons in March.
I slowly increased my 3 mile milage in October up to 10 miles by the end of January and run 5-6 times a week 30-40 miles.
I have lost over two stones in weight and feel so much better in my health and mind. Although my hardest part of the day is thinking about going for a run, the feeling after I have been for a run is great.
