I've been a runner since I was a kid but I was never competitive with it until a shoulder op in early 2011 meant I couldn't do anything but run for three months . . . I got so into it I ran my first half marathon in April 2012 and did a time of 1 hour 32 mins. Not bad for a 38 year old (and makes me wonder if I should have taken running more seriously 15 years ago).
Other than that I'm a family man with three kids, then there's work etc . . . not sure how I find time to enjoy a nice bottle of red but I always do!
