My three favourite events are: Favourite: Half-marathon Next Favourite: Trail races Third favourite: 10 Mile I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Gym (weight training), Road cycling, Skiing, Swimming

I started running in April 2004. I have been asthmatic since i was a child and running was something that didn''t come easy! It took 7/8 months before i could happily run without using my inhaler all the time.
Now i can happily run and i don''t ever take my inhaler out with me. Running has made a huge difference.
I completed my first half marathon in March 2005 in 2:23, i said i would never run another and then...
Norwich half 2007 2:03 Bath Half 2:09 Bristol half 2:00:01 (you don''t know how annoying that few seconds were!!) then Las Vegas Half 1:54! Finally broke the 2 hours!
I ran Birch Bay 30k which i did it in 2:39 and then it was been all down hill from then as i hurt my knee training for BMO marathon 2012...
Now 2 years on with a current half marathon time of 1:43!
Nailed Victoria marathon October 2014 (3:55) ! Super happy as I got to the end and knew that I could do way better as I could have kept going!
So the next goal is to qualify for Boston!
Outside of running i love traveling, I enjoy going to the cinema, eating out, listening to music, watching things like Dexter, The Killing, True Detective, Orange is the New Black...
