 More about me
Aged 50 or is it more? I'm past caring. I'm not having a mid-life crisis, so just pass me that axe. I was fitter at age 48 than I was at 38, having collected pbs at all distances from 5k to 50k in 2007-8. Don't let anyone tell you that marathons are fun. They aren't. They take months of training, lots of focus, they hurt, and sometimes they don't go to plan. So why are loads of us obsessed? Because we can do it, that's why. Next on the list was learning how to swim, because I wouldn't get to do a whole triathlon if I was still by the water's edge.
